SK Gaming Avarosa finish Top 32 in the Prime League Pokal
SK Gaming's female LoL team made it through the qualifiers, then was defeated by the Division 1 runners-up, E WIE EINFACH, in Round 1 of the main event
SK Avarosa, the female League of Legends team of SK Gaming, have finished their run in the Prime League Pokal. They were defeated in Round 1 of the main event, therefore placing in the Top 32.

The Prime League Pokal is the inter-division competition for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). 32 teams participate: the 10 Division 1 teams are invited, and other teams fight for 22 spots available through the qualifier. Unlike previous years, instead of the Pokal being a fall tournament, it was changed to take place gradually throughout most of the year, from February to August.
The qualifier took place from February 10 to March 17. SK Avarosa were seeded into Round 2 (quarterfinal), where they started off with a 2-1 victory over Division 4 team AIX eSports. They then continued with a 2-0 victory over Starter Division team Broken Rebels. The 3rd and final qualifier match was a rematch from last year’s Pokal, as SK Avarosa were paired with WeSports. And just like last year, SK Avarosa won 2-0.
For Round 1 of the main event, SK Avarosa had one of the theoritically toughest possible pairings: E WIE EINFACH, the Division 1 runners-up and recent EMEA Masters participants. SK Avarosa were defeated 2-0 and eliminated from the Pokal.
E WIE EINFACH will proceed to the 2nd round, where they have been paired with Permitta eSports, a Division 4 team. For SK Avarosa, this is a worse placement than last year, when they finished in the Top 16.
SK Gaming Avarosa’s complete results in the 2025 Prime League Pokal:
Qualifier quarterfinal: 2-1 victory over AIX eSports (Division 4)
Qualifier semifinal: 2-0 victory over Broken Rebels (Starter Division)
Qualifier final: 2-0 victory over WeSports (Division 3)
Main event 1st round: 0-2 defeat to E WIE EINFACH (Division 1)
SK Gaming Avarosa’s next competition is expected to be the upcoming Prime League Division 4 split, starting on the 22nd of May. They are also expected to compete in the upcoming Equal Esports Cup, the official EMEA region tournament for women & non-binary people, starting on the 1st of July.
