G2 Hel score their first win in the Liga Nexo (Spanish 2nd tier) as midlaner Rym returns to the starting lineup
G2 Hel are now 1-1 and will next face last split's 3rd tier champions
G2 Hel, the female League of Legends team of G2 Esports, scored their first win in the Liga Nexo yesterday. Playing with their main lineup, they defeated Guinea Pink in a 29-minute game.
The Liga Nexo is the 2nd tier of competition in Spain’s League of Legends circuit. G2 Hel promoted into it by placing 3rd in last split’s Circuito Tormenta and then prevailing in the Liga Nexo promotion/relegation tournament. Guinea Pink finished 5th-6th out of 12 teams in Liga Nexo’s previous split.
This game saw the return of G2 Hel midlaner Rym “rym” Salloum to the starting lineup, having been unavailable for G2 Hel’s Liga Nexo debut vs the Kawaii Kiwis. After winning a final teamfight inside Guinea Pink’s base, G2 Hel brought down the nexus and grabbed the win 29 minutes in.
