G2 Hel, the female League of Legends team of G2 Esports, were defeated 2-0 by Falke Esports in the quarterfinals of the Liga Nexo playoffs. G2 Hel’s final placement for this Liga Nexo split is Top 6.
The Liga Nexo is the 2nd tier of competition in Spain’s League of Legends circuit. G2 Hel qualified to the playoffs by finishing 6th in the regular season, having scored 5 wins and 4 losses. As for Falke Esports, they finished 3rd in the regular season with a record of 7 wins, 2 losses.
In the G2 Hel vs Falke Esports match for the regular season, which took place on the 5th matchday, G2 Hel won after 42 minutes. G2 Hel toplaner Zeniv scored a pentakill with Aatrox.
In the quarterfinal match, Falke Esports defeated G2 Hel 2-0, with both matches lasting 31 minutes. Falke Esports will now face last split’s champions, Oxygen Gaming, in the semifinals.

G2 Hel are the only female team to have qualifed to the playoffs in Tier 2 of a European Regional League. Up next, G2 Hel are scheduled to participate in the upcoming Equal Esports Cup, beginning with the group stage on Tuesday the 1st of July 2025.
